02 Oct 2025

I was going to write my own CSS, then I remember Kev Quirk's simple css. He wrote about it here.

I like it. It's simple and effective.

I was going to use Nord UI theme, so I will probably will tweak the CSS later on. But now I can focus on writing and learning HTML. ]]> Footer navigation Tue, 30 Sep 2025 03:53:00 GMT c982739b-a8e4-4f22-b7fd-266da23677ac https://indragm.dev/blog/footer-navigation Footer navigation

Just realized I don't have a link back to index page, so I'll put it in the footer.

Originally, I also want to put "previous" and "next" link so it will be easier to navigate posts, instead of going back and forth between individual post and the index page. But this would mean everytime I write a new post, I have to link it in my previous post. Not the workflow I want. It's like infinite scrolling, but it's html.

I should write a manifesto to guide me with my decisions ]]> Why Mon, 11 Sep 2025 11:05:00 GMT ead7e85c-7f99-4bd1-bf7a-4e9d202b721c https://indragm.dev/blog/why Why

Why starting this blog

I already have a personal blog at bearblog platform. It's small, it's lovely. Yet I decided to create another blog, for my nerdy alter-ego.

I often found other bloggers who talks about small web. I love the small web. I love the simple html websites. It reminds me of my youth when the internet wasn't as common, and I learn how to build html website, making link buttons, and using small gif image to decorate my page. Geocities, Friendster, and early Blogspot.

Recently I found Louie's blog and his "make a damn website" really hits me, and it was the final kick that I need.

So here it is, a manual html (I'll add the CSS later), small website of mine. Next, RSS.

11 Sep 2025

Decided to take an action after reading LMNT's guide on how to make a damn website.

This is a space for my nerdy alter-ego.

Day one of creating my own website, instead of one day.
